What Is Versa? 

Versa is a state-of-the-art dermal filler that redefines facial aesthetics with a commitment to natural beauty and versatile enhancements. This powerful filler is comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that is responsible for maintaining hydration, plumpness, and elasticity. Versa’s distinguishing formula is characterized by its perfectly spherical and uniform hyaluronic acid molecules. This allows for fewer adverse reactions and a decrease in swelling after treatment.   

Who Is a Candidate for Versa? 

Ideal candidates for Versa include those wishing to address signs of aging on the face including: 

• Nasolabial folds 
• Oral commissures 
• Marionette lines 
• Forehead lines. 

This special filler can also be used to establish more defined contours in areas of the face such as the cheeks, jawline, chin, and lips. Versa Procedure 

No matter what treatment or procedure you are having, the first step will always be a consultation with Dr. Yco. When you arrive for your Versa injections, Dr. Yco will begin by cleansing the treatment area. A topical lidocaine will then be applied to ensure your comfort. Once the numbing agent has taken effect, Dr. Yco will inject the Versa using a fine gauge needle, making adjustments along the way to provide you with precise and natural-looking results.  

Post-Op Care 

The most common side effects immediately following treatment with Versa include mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness. A cold compress can be gently applied to the treatment area to alleviate any discomfort. For at least 24 hours after treatment, you will want to avoid participating in any strenuous activities, sun exposure, and taking certain medications that could interfere with the healing process. You will also want to avoid touching your face or laying directly on the treatment site. Dr. Yco may suggest a follow-up appointment or may recommend hyperbaric C02 treatments or red light therapy to aid in your recovery.
