Who Is the Ideal Candidate for Renuva?

The ideal candidate for treatments using Renuva is seeking to address small areas of volume and fat loss related to aging or other concerns. These can include concerns such as:

Renuva Procedure

Renuva is injected into the treatment area using a fine cannula. If it would make you more comfortable a topical numbing agent can be applied before treatment. The injected fat works to remodel and rebuild your own fat that has been lost due to aging, injury, or other concerns. Injections also restore the surrounding tissue and enhance volume of the skin. In total, a Renuva treatment takes only an hour to complete.

Post-Op Care

Immediately following Renuva injections, you may experience some mild redness or tenderness at the injection site. This should go away after a few days. Other than these mild side effects, there is no downtime with Renuva. While the results of the injected fat provide some immediate improvement, the real magic takes place over the course of the next 3-6 months as your body and Renuva work in tandem to restore fat in the treatment area. Depending on your aesthetic goals, you may need multiple Renuva sessions. Most people need anywhere from 1-3 sessions to meet their goals.
