Who is a Candidate for EZ Gel?

During a consultation, Dr. Mario Yco Kara Pennington, PAC, will review your detailed health history to determine if EZ Gel platelet-rich plasma injections are a good fit. Because EZ Gel uses your own blood components, certain medical conditions that affect bleeding or red blood cells may mean it’s not a good fit.

EZ Gel Treatment

EZ Gel treatment starts with drawing a small sample of blood. Our medical team can ensure it’s quick and efficient while you remain comfortable. The blood sample is put in a centrifuge and spun down to separate the plasma and red blood cells. Then, the plasma goes through a meticulous and cutting-edge cooling and heating process to thicken it into a gel consistency. Once we have the EZ Gel, it’s carefully injected into areas of the face where you want more volume, just like a dermal filler. You can see instant improvement, and your results will only get better in the following weeks to months as the growth factors stimulate healthy new collagen.

Post-Op Care

There’s minimal post-op care involved after EZ Gel treatment. You can return to many of your daily activities right away, although we recommend avoiding strenuous activity for a few days. You may have some minor redness and irritation at your injection sites, as well as some bruising where your blood was drawn. However, these things tend to subside quickly. You can see substantial results with a single treatment, but we recommend yearly touch-up treatments to maintain your results and ensure your body continues to generate collagen and keep your skin looking youthful.
