When Dr. Yco made the decision to specialize in facial plastic surgery, he also made the commitment to research the newest, most effective techniques. He does this through continuing education and by maintaining membership in some of the most respected organizations in his field, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American College of Surgeons. Dr. Yco is also the former chairman for the Department of Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. He offers a variety of procedures to give you the beautiful look you desire, including:

Face lift — With his additional training in head and neck surgery, Dr. Yco is expert at today’s most advanced face-lift and neck-lift techniques. He can reverse the effects of aging on the face and neck without it looking tight or unnatural. Tumescent liposuction may also be incorporated to add a more youthful contour to the neck and jowls.

Forehead lift — Dr. Yco offers the endoscopic method of forehead lift, which can correct forehead wrinkles and sagging eyebrows. This procedure utilizes smaller incisions, resulting in faster healing and less-visible scarring.

Thread lift — This method of facial rejuvenation lifts and tightens the face using special threads to suspend the cheeks, jowls and forehead.
